Your big ugly face is as dumb as a butt.

I’m at uq at the moment, Seffie, Lis and I decided to go trekking all the way here, because I’m on this completely messed up exercise kick. We were originally going to go to Mt Cootha, but I lazied out.

I’ve been gymming it up, gymming around, and feeling really self conscious all the while. In any event, I hope to be HAWT for summer.

Ciao Ladies

Oh, how times change.

I’ve stumbled across (who am I kidding, I had them sent to me) a few photos of when I was younger. Holy crap, I look so stinking different. Well.. I think I do, anyway.

Join me in this scary, disgusting, and quite possibly disturbing trip down memory lane!

Now, just for reference, here’s a picture of me being a poser RIGHT NOW!

Me, at 10:23pm on Thursday the 21st of July 2005.

Anyway, on with the show.

That’s enough of 2005. As you can see, it’s the same every time. Black hair, blue eyes, freckles.

2004-2005:
Now, during 2004, I looked a wee bit different. I was in grade 12, and decided to experiment with hair colour. During this period in time, I had brown hair for a while, red hair for a while after, and then eventually decided on (and stuck with) black hair right near the end. Still pretty much the same though.

2003-2004:
This is where it gets kinda messy. I don’t know, I going through a bit of an awkward stage, and I was doing the tomboy thing. I felt really really retarded during that year. I was muchero more freckled and usually blotchy, too. Just see for yourself :p

More to come tomorrow, ladies.

I think I’m in love…

So, today I cleaned my room. With a little help from Lis, we vacuumed, wiped, swept and folded my room into complete cleanliness. I had a rush of inspiration and decided to move my other monitor onto my desk.

Oh-my-goodness, it’s wonderful. Even though they’re not both up and running at the same time, I can tell it’s going to be awesome. I love computers faaar too much for my own good :(

Sorry :/

I’m really sorry for the lack of updates, dudes and dudettes. It’s been TWO DAYS, MAN. TWO DAYS. (They just came out of the TREES, MAN).

Anyway, as I’m hoping to update often and cbf writing anything new, here. Look at this. There was some thread on ocau about tradespeople, and it’s the longest thing I’ve written in days.

I have a semi-amusing tradesman story. Not exactly on topic, but meh.

Anyway, the sharehouse i’m living in has a funky roof. Not funky in the bust-out-the-flares-and-sequins kinda way, but funky in the wow-thats-dangerously-unsafe kinda way. So I guess it’s not really funky at all.

In any event, the first time it rained, our lounge room was completely saturated. The roof leaked like a shower, and water even started coming out of one of the light fixtures. We alerted the real estate people, and they sent a dodgy tradesman around to check it out. He bounced into my room (the garage), all cheerful and happy, smiles all around. He asked me what the problem was/where it was, and I went and pointed it out to him. About twenty minutes after I returned to my room (garage), he came in, looking annoyed and a little scared and said-quite firmly- “fuck that.” And did an awesome hand movement.

He got back in his ute and drove down our killer driveway. The tray on his ute was rattling, and the last I saw was the words “no job too big or too small” written on the back.

Music ahoy

I went back to visit school on Wednesday.

It was so different, almost saddeningly so. I walked into the music block and there wasn’t a chorus of “Hey Jess”’s, as there would’ve been in years gone by. It sucks so much that the music block has changed.

Anyway, I went to vocal group in the afternoon, and since then I’ve been bitten by the music bug. Seriously bitten. Bitten square on the bum.

On that note, I found some old music, put my celebrate cd in, and had a singalong. I also found some old Mr-K-esque rounds:

Robin Hood
Robin Hood, Robin Hood
Said little John come
Dance before the queen-a
In a red petticoat
and a green jacket a
white hose and a green-a.

Now, for anyone who doesn’t remember, we learned that on music camp in grade 10, with Australian Voices. Good times. A year after that, Essie and I sat in the back of the bus on tour, and figured out that it worked well with Rose Red, for any of you that remember it.

*sigh* I miss high-school. (Actually, pants to high school. I miss music)
