Part I - Moving Day.
After weeks upon weeks of tiring searching, mounting frustration and soul-crushing rejections from many a real estate agent, we finally found a house. It became available on Tuesday - so Scott and I, positively giddy with the anticipation of having somewhere non-Morayfield related to live, packed some things into our cars and convoy’d our way into the city to pick up our keys.
When we arrived, the Real Estate handyman was there putting the final touches on the place. A few things needed replacing, and my balcony door was jammed. (Speaking of which, the view of the city from the balcony is gorgeous. The walk-in-wardrobe and ensuite are great too.) When Scott returned from work we walked up the road to the designated local Chinese restaurant for some first night food. Lots of chinese and lots of Gilmore Girls later, we assembled Scotts chair and gave Cameron his keys. After lots of standing around the house and chatting amongst ourselves, it became apparent that (for at least the first couple of weeks) we should all get along just fine. Not that I was concerned.
We move all the big stuff in on Saturday. Luckily for me, my awesome friends are helping me load things in and off the giant truck. It’ll be nice to have a refrigerator, at last. I like having cold food. And beverages.
Part II - Rach returns!
Rachel is coming to Brisbane! Again!
It’s going to be awesome. She arrives on the 11th of April, so I’m taking a few days off to hang out with her and take her places in the Jessmobile. We’ll have to do a little bit of shopping though. She’ll be here for housewarming, too
Part III - The world is tiny.
Yeah, the world is small.
Just half an hour ago while I perused myspace idly, I stumbled across an interesting photo- my workmate Rob with one of the Jew’s girls. Turns out that the Christie that Rob had mentioned at work was the same Christie that Ian was seeing.
Very small world! I got on msn and confirmed with Elisha that it was, infact, the same Rob. Turns out that Elisha and I know each other via 3 people. It’s very weird and the world is small.
Please excuse the hastily written post. I’m really tired.

Tom told me a joke today.
Why does Snoop Dog need an umbrella?
For drizzle.
I laughed for about five whole minutes.
