Sydney Part I

Well, I’ve arrived in Sydney, and I’ve noticed a few things about the place. Firstly, it’s all.. squished together. All the houses are really, really close together.

As I pulled in on the plane, my nose squished up against the window, I couldn’t believe how damn big it was. Seriously, the place is HUGE. I met Michael at the airport, and something EXTREMELY cool happened - sydney paid me to use their public transport system. Oh yes. I went to the machine, punched in ’student’ and ‘riverwood’, and put my money in - the machine spat out my ticket (they’re VERY different from Brisbane tickets, just FYI.), $1.20 change, and my original $10 note. Today I bought a $1.20 ticket, so.. basically, I’ve ridden for free :D

Last night was great - I had an awesome nights sleep, fantastic chinese food, and a guitar hero marathon with mister Michael. He has cute dogs, named Dagwood, Maggie and Claude. Dagwood and Maggie are cute little daschunds, while Claude is this giant awesome big dog. Very very cool.

Here, have some photos of my first night/morning here. Rachel and I are about to go to some shopping for black nailpolish.

Fake train smiles!!

My Lucky $10 note :D

The Chinese restaurant. Their chicken and blackbean was awesome. So was their salt and pepper calamari. And the.. actually, it was all good. Delicious food :D

My Michael! <3
