I’m really happy right now.
My second week at work couldn’t have gone better, the diet and exercise is back on track and going swimmingly, I caught up with all my awesome Telstra friends on Thursday, and I have like the best boyfriend ever.
Thursday night was fantastic - we headed out to Harem in Paddington for dinner. Despite my reservations in regards to particular potential attendees (Oooh, cryptic!), the entire group seemed to have a wonderful time. The food was delicious, my new dress was cute, the belly dancer was hot, and I finally got to hang out with my Ashley. I still miss him lots though :( Lucily, he and the boy seem to have taken a liking to each other - Nathan taught him rock-lock :P I don’t really know what I would’ve done if they hadn’t, to be honest. Well, I do, but.. I’m thankful that they get along, or whatever.
I spent pretty much the rest of the week hanging out with the boy, and it was totally awesome. Awesome-o awesome.
I have a list of things I must accomplish this week though;
- Gym at least four times.
- Finish washing alllll the clothes on the floordrobe.
- Drinking with Justin
- Post work drinks with Ashley <3
- Enquire about uni stuff.
- Sort out PT stuff.
Merry is the man
with money in his hand
with grease between the wheels
and lamps in his latrine
and stacks of fresh towels for his wet hands
Counting up all his toys
Draining tent fire from the neighbors
Sermons from soldier boys
like our young cadet
whose lords require sweat
til Spain is on its ass
surrend’ring Philippines
He‘s stuck in ruts wearing lead pants
buried chest-deep in a Maginot
Wondering when he’ll touch flesh again
next chance he gets, he must tell her:
“Oh, you’ve got Radium eyesâ€
He can see his girl
with temporary curls,
Her doorbell fetching maid,
pour fetes a la piscine
but she’s working, changing the bedpans
in cities where none but daughters roam
Stretchers fill ev’ry cathedral
tarpaulins drip from each broken dome
“You’ve got Radium eyesâ€
Count Zero are awesome.
I have some stuff to put on paper. Well. “Paper”.
Stuff to not forget tomorrow:
- Lunch is in the fridge.
- Black heels are in the car.
- Grab iPod off charger.
- Check bus times.

Benny and I have found some motivation to head into the gym lots again - even though I’m coughing up gross yellow-y stuff at an alarming rate, it seems like the exercise is doing me some good.
Telstra people are all gathering for foods on Thursday. I get to go out with an awesome boy tomorrow night. I’ve been listening to cool new music that you all need to get into. Guitar hero is one of the most awesome things ever. I’ve nearly finished writing a new song. I need to go to bed now have a good evening everyone goodnight <33
